This service issues database specialists to provide support of database design, assessments, process automation, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), upgrades and migrations, and maintenance activities for a requested length of time or depth of a project. This service also offers Data Warehouse design and implementation for analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.

Service Prerequisites
  • Client provides a high-level overview of service requirements.
Scope of Service
  • ASET Responsibilities:
    • Disaster Recovery support
    • Monitoring and tuning of the DBMS environment
    • DBMS software installation, maintenance, and upgrade
    • DBMS customization and configuration implementation
    • Troubleshooting and problem resolution for DBMS Software
    • DBMS Backup and Recovery
    • DBMS Disaster Recovery preparation
    • Implement Application Database backup and recovery procedures
    • File Management services
    • Database administration support to Application Development staff
  • Customer Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate with the Applications team
    • Attain authorization through the AZDOHS Cyber Command for any changes to the environment
    • Provide ADOA-ASET with customer contact information during normal and outside normal business hours
    • Request assistance or support via the Cherwell Customer portal. Click on ADOA-ASET Service Desk. Select Database Support then Database Hosting.
    • Authorize activities in support of DBMS environment
    • Pay all fees associated with the use of the service
  • Shared Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate application testing schedules for system or application software upgrades
Service Commitment
  • Response Time: 24 - 48 hours (depending on severity)
  • Resolution Time: Dependent on issue
  • Support Time: 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday
