Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Suppliers are contracted to consult on agency IT projects over $5 million as required by Arizona Revised Statute 18-104(A)(1)(g). Master Service Agreements are in place for these services. 

The goal of the IV&V engagements is to make recommendations on the technology approach, scope, cost, timeline, feasibility, and status of high-dollar projects. 

ADOA-ASET oversees these engagements to ensure alignment with industry best practices and strategic priorities for the State of Arizona per the Governor’s directive:
