CenturyLink was awarded the AZNet II contract on March 9, 2012. The awarded contract is available in ProcureAZ under Contract Number ADSPO11-019559. The initial contract term is five years, March 8, 2017. Contractual and performance oversight is provided by Enterprise Infrastructure and Communications (EIC).
During the initial phase, AZNet II will be deploying new VoIP core infrastructure in Phoenix and Tucson. This will represent a refresh of legacy equipment. As other locations are refreshed, new equipment will be deployed to Agency locations. The contract includes voice (desk and call center) and network seats. Locations with current equipment will benefit from a refresh toward the end of the contract term. Those locations with antiquated equipment will receive a refresh toward the beginning of the contract term. The goal is to refresh all in-scope devices once during the five year term.
Services are categorized based on the facility requiring a High (99.99% uptime), Medium (99.9% uptime), or Standard (99.8% uptime) availability.
AZNet II pricing offers a fixed, predictable cost for services, projects, and Moves Adds Changes (MACS). The seat price includes the refresh of equipment, project and support staff provided, and MACS necessary during the five year term. AZNet II does not offer an early pay discount or credit.
