ABOUT DISTRIBUTED DENIAL OF SERVICE (DDos)

Distributed Denial of Service involves the blocking of intentional attempts to paralyze a network by flooding it with data sent simultaneously from many individual computers. It serves as one of the key lines of defense against cyber attacks.

BENEFITS OF THIS SERVICE

      •       Each of the 17 controls included in the Enterprise Security Controls are critical for protecting the State of Arizona

      •       An experienced support team helps maintain this cyber control program to ensure that updated and effective tactics are followed

IMPORTANCE TO YOUR AGENCY/BOARD

     •       Security breaches are costly and adopting security controls as a preventative measure results in a significant cost savings/avoidance

     •       In the event of a security breach, measures are in place to identify and respond to the threat as quickly as possible, reducing potential damage
